Soft, chewy Rice Crispy Treats with festive red and green sprinkles and holiday M&Ms. A quick and fun Christmas dessert for all ages.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

  • 10 oz mini marshmallows (about 6 cups)

  • 1/4 cup butter

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

  • 1/2 cup mini holiday M&Ms

  • 2 tbsp red and green sprinkles

  • Extra M&Ms and sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  • Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment or lightly grease.

  • In a large pot, melt butter over low heat.

  • Add marshmallows and stir until fully melted.

  • Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract.

  • Fold in Rice Krispies until coated.

  • Let cool slightly, then stir in M&Ms and sprinkles.

  • Press into prepared pan with buttered hands or wax paper.

  • Decorate with more M&Ms and sprinkles.

  • Cool completely before cutting.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

  • Add crushed peppermint or drizzle chocolate for variation.

  • Use cookie cutters to shape into trees, stars, or wreaths.
